A retired Rear Admiral, Mr. Carnevale is well known in the ship building and ship systems communities and maintains excellent contacts in the public and private sectors. He also organizes the leading national industry conference on ship repair.

After earning his bachelor’s degree, Mr. Carnevale joined the Navy and participated in combat operations in Vietnam. He participated directly in the construction of six different ship classes, was Executive Assistant to an Assistant Secretary of the Navy, a Program Executive Officer and then a Director of Fleet Maintenance for the Commander, Fleet Forces Command. He was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral (lower half) in 1998.
Mr. Carnevale is a member and past president of the American Society of Naval Engineers and a past member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporate Visiting Committee.
