Jack Conners joined Ball Janik LLP in 2011 as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Business and Corporate practice areas. He has represented private and public clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, property management, development, easements and joint ventures. He also has assisted clients with credit and finance transactions, loan documentation, and various commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Ball Janik, Mr. Conners practiced real estate and business law with another Portland-area law firm. From 2004 to 2009, he was a real estate associate with Los Angeles-based Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker LLP, where he worked with Ball Janik on a number of real estate transactions in Portland and Los Angeles. Mr. Conners was a banking and institutional investing associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, also in Los Angeles, from 2003-2004. Mr. Conners received his J.D. at the University of Southern California in 2003.
Before entering law school, Mr. Conners worked as a senior accountant with Arthur Andersen, LLP. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in the state of California, achieving high honors on the uniform CPA examination.
Mr. Conners graduated with high honors from Portland State University in 1998 with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting. He played wide receiver for the PSU football team, earning both a Business Student/Intercollegiate Athlete Scholarship and an NCAA Athletic Scholarship in football. The Big Sky Conference named him to its All-Academic First Team.
Mr. Conners is currently a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, and continues to be active in sports and fitness.
