Mark Rosencrantz Elected to Seattle International Film Festival Board of Directors

Ball Janik LLP announced today that Mark Rosencrantz, an attorney in the firm’s Seattle office, has been elected to the board of directors of the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). Founded in 1976, SIFF is Seattle’s leading year-round film organization, bringing the best in international and independent film to the Seattle area with the Seattle International Film Festival, SIFF Cinema and Futurewave Education. Recognized as one of the top film festivals in North America, the Seattle International Film Festival is the largest, best-attended film festival in the United States, with over 150,000 attendees in 2011. The 25-day festival presents more than 450 features, short films and documentaries from over 70 countries annually.
Mark Rosencrantz is a business trial lawyer and litigator who represents parties in a wide array of commercial disputes from minor issues to “bet the company cases.” His practice emphasizes matters involving breaches of contract, embezzlement, intellectual property and trade secrets misappropriation, violations of non-compete agreements, business divorces, bankruptcy, unfair trade practices, and partnership and corporate disputes.
In addition to his new position on the SIFF board of directors, Mr. Rosencrantz is currently the president of the board of Northwest Behavioral Associates, which provides behavioral therapy and specialized education for children with autism and pervasive developmental disorders.
